Academic issues
Before arrival
The Learning Agreement (LA) must be completed and signed by the departmental supervisors of both the Sending and Receiving institutions before the start of the academic semester.
The Learning Agreement sets out the study program to be followed by incoming students. Students must select courses from the relevant LIST OF COURSES (below). These courses are conducted either in English or in Greek, with special sessions and tutorials in English for Erasmus students. Students may make changes to their Learning Agreement during the first month after arrival. Such changes are recorded in the During the Mobility section of the Learning Agreement and signed by both academic supervisors.
Incoming students are not permitted to register for more than 30 ECTS per semester or 60 ECTS per academic year.
After arrival in Volos, students should:
- Contact the central Erasmus office (Volos).
- Register at the Secretariat of the Department of Civil Engineering (Pedion Areos, Volos). Please contact Ms Divani (hdivani@uth.gr) and provide a copy of the signed LA. In case of changes during the mobility period, an updated copy of the LA must also be provided to the Secretariat.
- Contact the Departmental Coordinator for incoming students at the Department of Civil Engineering (Civil Engineering building, Pedion Areos, Volos).
After completion of studies
The Secretariat of the Department of Civil Engineering will prepare the Transcript of Records, which will be sent by email to the Erasmus Office of the Sending Institution and to the student.
This version keeps all your original content and structure but fixes typos, standardizes terminology (ECTS, capitalization), and smooths a few phrasings for a more professional website tone.
