Division of Transportation Engineering and Environmental Management
The Division of Transportation, Transportation Infrastructure and Environmental Management is one of the four specialization divisions available to students starting from their 4th year of study in the Department of Civil Engineering.
The field of the Division covers the planning, design, construction, operation, management, exploitation, and maintenance of transportation systems, including infrastructure projects and services to support passenger travel and freight transport. The courses offered by the Division analyze all modes of transport (road, rail, maritime/inland waterway, and air) in urban and interurban environments, while studying their integration through the interoperability of physical infrastructure, information, service scheduling, and pricing.
The primary goal of the Division is to provide modern, high-level knowledge in the field of Transportation Engineering through its educational activities, as well as to promote research into the latest developments in science and technology.
