ΒΙΟΓΡΑΦΙΚΟ

Dr. Christos Pouliaris is a geologist. His scientific interests focus on water resources management, hydrogeology, groundwater modeling and hydrology of karst regions. Since 2014 he has participated in several EU funded projects dealing with various topics in water science. In Water4Cities he is associated with the Municipal Enterprise of Water Supply and Sewerage of Skiathos, working on water supply related issues.

This webinar focuses on how the natural environment is affected and altered by the introduction of an urban settlement, with some emphasis on the groundwater resources management.
